Search Engine Optimization for New Product Introduction
 

The power of Web Strategy was demonstrated by the recent introductions of a this Eurotech product based on the new Intel  Atom CPU.  This was a new technology, of interest to the community, and was sure to start inquiry and investigation.

The program started with Search Engine Visibility. When people seek technical knowledge they turn to Google.


These are competitive terms, other companies have SEO Programs, but their results are not even close to this.  You can see Eurotech achieved high rank, and in fact multiple first page plaements.  But SEO is a business, not a game.  Visibility is just the first step.

This was the website traffic, filtered to show only first time visitors searching for relevant terms.

 

Traffic is not enough.  Salesmen need contact names.  Specific pages were targeted for search visibility, and some content changes were made to induce people to leave names.

 

These were the leads collected, from people with relevant searches

 

It is important to understand the leads collected (goals) by this method are highly qualified.  Each one:

  • Is looking for what is being promoted

  • Thinks the company supplies what he needs

  • Selected that company from a list of similar companies

Did these leads generate business??

Eurotech was awarded Intel’s “Excellence for Growth” award for landing more Atom design wins than Radisys, Kontron, Advantech or other much lareger Intel Partners.  This was accomplished even though all of the competitive partners have lower prices and costs, preferred status with the Intel Sales Reps, many times the sales force, more distributor clout, many more shows, much more advertising, and higher web traffic overall.
